How would you describe your work?
I am a sculptor, and my work, whether wall works or sculptures, is clearly characterized by the materials, craft interventions and usually a transformation of simple materials into something magical where the original materiality is hardly recognizable.
Wie würdest du deine Arbeit beschreiben?
Ich bin Bildhauer, und mein Werk ist egal ob Wandarbeiten oder Skulpturen ganz klar geprägt durch die jeweiligen Materialien, handwerkliche Eingriffe und in der Regel ein Verwandeln einfacher Materialien zu etwas magischem, bei dem die ursprüngliche Materialität kaum noch erkennbar ist.

Which materials and techniques do you work with?
There are no limits to the materials I use. Much of what falls into my hands or is specifically sought, finds application in my studio, or is examined for its possibilities.
Mit welchen Materialien und Techniken arbeitest du?
Bei der Verwendung von Materialien gibt es bei mir keine Limits. Vieles was mir in die Hände fällt oder speziell gesucht wird, findet in meinem Atelier Anwendung oder wird auf seine Möglichkeiten untersucht.

Is there an approach with which you begin new works or series of works and what is your working method in the further process?
I work and think in series. That is, once I have found something that interests me or where I think I can find myself again, I continue to explore what is possible with it and a “mini evolution” takes place within a group of works.
Gibt es eine Herangehensweise, mit welcher du dich neuen Arbeiten oder Arbeitsreihen annäherst und wie ist deine Arbeitsweise im weiteren Prozess?
Ich arbeite und denke in Serien. Das heißt, habe ich für mich etwas gefunden, was mich interessiert oder wo ich denke, darin finde ich mich wieder lote ich immer weiter aus, was damit möglich ist und es findet innerhalb einer Werkgruppe eine mini evolution statt.

What influences do you have in your art?
Basically, my work is an accumulation of the impressions and sensations that come to me. The essence, so to speak, or an extract. Sometimes also quite banal one to one.
Welche Einflüsse wirken sich auf deine Kunst aus?
Im Grunde ist meine Arbeit eine Kumulation der Eindrücke und Empfindungen, die auf mich einprasseln. Sozusagen die Essenz, oder ein Extrakt. Manchmal auch ganz banal eins zu eins.
